Lund Fellowship
October 2024- March 2026

A Lund Fellowship funded project exploring the current viability and future possibility of textiles (hides and protein fibre) as a diversification option for farmers in the High Weald Landscape.

To look in detail at how an industry of bio-regional fibre might in future be an option for improved returns for mixed regenerative farming and provide a material source to revive technical and craft based enterprises.

If you are a farmer with experiences to share, whether positive or negative, please get in touch. Likewise I am interested to hear from fibre and hide processors, craft practitioners and designers who would like to share their successes and challenges in working with local fibre and hide sources.
